Maria Plain
Challenging trail with splendid views of Salzburg. At first, you will run for a while next to the main highway to Fischach. Then, the route takes you upriver past the Jägerwirt through Kasern and Radeck to Maria Plain. After visiting the pilgrimage church, it is not much further to Bergheim.

Sandkuchl
Enjoy the natural setting as you run through the beautiful countryside surrounding Bergheim, making your way to the north. The route takes you somewhat uphill through Voggenberg, around the Sandkuchl, past the observatory, to Winding. From there, you can either run straight back to Bergheim, or add an extra “lap” by crossing the Holzbauer “Flower Meadow” (+2.2 km).

Schwabgitzen
You will first make your way north, far removed from any hustle and bustle, until you come to the Arnoweg. Continuing through Korb and past the Hintergitzen, you will finally come to Schwabgitzen, with its enchanting views of Bergheim. Now via Breit, you will come to the Fischach, which will then take you back to Bergheim.

Maria Plain II
About 1/3 of this route takes you alongside the Salzach. At the Alterbach, you will take a left, follow the Arnoweg trail through Kemeting to Maria Plain. After visiting the pilgrimage church, it is not much further to Bergheim. As an alternative, before Maria Plain you may also wish to take a shortcut along the Holzstättweg.

Fischach
A pleasant circuit, taking you along the Fischach through Lengfelden and almost to Elixhausen. You make your way through forest and across meadows towards Hainachgraben. Continuing via Viehhausen, you will arrive back at Lengfelden. From there, the Fischach will once again take you to Bergheim.

Voggenberg
This challenging route leads you along the Fischach to Lengfelden. Via Viehhausen, Hainach and Reit, you will finally come to Voggenberg. The return route takes you mainly through uninhabited areas and follows the Voggenberg Road.

City Tour
You will run alongside the Salzach to the Müllner Steg. Crossing the Mönchsberg and Festungsberg, you will come to Salzburg’s inner city. Keep to the banks of the Salzach as you make your way back to Bergheim.

Muntigl
Easy loop along the Fischach and Salzach, leaving you with magical impressions in both summer and winter.

Short Salzach Loop
Next to the main road, a broad path leads you to the Fischach. When this stream reaches the Salzach, you will run along the quayside and via the railway station back to Bergheim.
